Garden Wildlife

The pond in our back garden has seen an explosion in frog numbers this year - I hope that we have been in part responsible for this. We have made some effort to provide shady places in the garden for the frogs to hide when they are away from the water (according to this article, frogs spend most of their time out of the water).

We’ve also left small piles of wood and tiles in order to provide breeding areas for slugs, snails, woodlice and other creatures - hopefully this goes some way to giving the frogs something to eat!
